Privacy policy
Last updated 27 October 2026. How Ploxi Consult collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use www.ploxiconsult.com, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
1. Who we are
This website is run by Ploxi Consult ("Ploxi", "we", "us"), Embassy Golf Links Business Park, Domlur, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. 2. Data we collect
- Consultation requests: your name, work email, company (optional), your role, the topic you're interested in and your message, when you use the form on our homepage.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and the date you subscribed.
- Usage and technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, and request data such as IP address, collected by our hosting and analytics providers.
- Communications: emails you send us and our replies.
3. Why we use it
- to reply to your request and arrange the consultation you asked for;
- to send the newsletter you subscribed to;
- to keep the website secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations; and
- to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it.
4. Our legal bases
We process personal data with your consent (for example, when you submit a form or subscribe) and for legitimate uses recognised by the DPDP Act, such as security and legal compliance. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this does not affect processing that already took place.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run the website for us under contract: Vercel (hosting and aggregate analytics), Ploxi Earth, our sister platform run by the same company (stores consultation requests and newsletter sign-ups, on Supabase), Brevo (delivers our emails and sends the newsletter) and Google Fonts (typefaces).
- Authorities, where disclosure is required by law, regulation or a valid court order.
Where data is transferred outside India, we do so in line with applicable law.
6. Cookies and local storage
We don't use advertising cookies. If you switch between light and dark theme, your choice is stored in your own browser and is not sent to us. We use Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate visits; it does not build individual advertising profiles.
7. How long we keep it
We keep consultation requests for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet legal and accounting obligations, and newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. When you ask us to erase your data, we delete or anonymise it unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit and restricted access to our inboxes and databases. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect a security issue, tell us at info@ploxiconsult.com.
9. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can, subject to its conditions:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- have your data erased, except what we must keep by law;
- nominate someone to exercise your rights in the cases the Act allows; and
- withdraw consent and raise a grievance with us.
Email info@ploxiconsult.com to use any of these rights. We'll verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires, and in any case within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Children
This website is meant for businesses and professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data; if you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
